Two Casino Behemoths Are About to Slug it Out Over Online Gambling

In the battle between good vs evil there can only be one victor. While this is a tad melodramatic, the truth is that Adelson and LVS have taken the moral high-ground in the anti-online gambling debate. According to Adelson,  the proliferation of online gambling in the US will lead to the corruption of youth and a generation of gambling addicts. Regardless of whether you agree with Adelson’s opinion or not, you have to respect the man as he speaks from the heart. There is no logical reason why Adelson would be against online gambling unless he was truly against it from a moral perspective. In fact, Adelson and LVS would most likely have the most to GAIN if they supported the US online gambling initiative.

On the other hand, Caesars, the AGA and other pro-online gambling folks are purely in it for the money. They don’t have any valid moral or logical reasons to support their position aside from the fact that they stand to make a lot of money.

I still am putting my money on Adelson here. Ultimately he will prevail.
