It all started in late 1994/ early 1995. A handful of people were involved back then. Names you probably never heard of and names that have been long forgotten.
Does Warren Eugene ring a bell? I remember meeting Warren in a board room in Markham in late 1995 when he had recently “launched” an HTML based online casino. Can you believe it? An HTML Casino? Anyway, Warren was looking for investors for his company and the company I was consulting to was interested in the i-gaming space. In the end the company didn’t invest and Warren went on to raise money elsewhere and continued on somewhat of an interesting career.
